Job description

We are looking for a Junior Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and be able to work with a variety of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hair styling services, including cutting, colouring, and styling, as well as providing excellent customer service. The Junior Hair Stylist must be able to work independently and have the ability to follow instructions and take direction from senior stylists.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide a friendly and professional service.
• Keep up to date with current trends in hair styling and colouring techniques.
• Advise customers on the best hair care products for their needs.
• Perform hair treatments such as colouring, and styling.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide advice on the best hairstyles for different face shapes and hair types.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Experience:

• stylist: 1 year (preferred)
• Hairdressing: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Hairdressing NVQ/SVQ Level 2 (preferred)
