Team Overview
We are seeking a part-time Junior Graphic Designer to work 2-3 days per week with strong communication and technical skills who are up to date with current industry standards, creative trends, and tools.
We are a global team working on various design tasks for the company. This would suit an adaptable and creative person seeking a part-time role.
Role Responsibilities
- Participating in design work consistent with EquiLend's brand standards and overall brand look and feel
- Conceptualizing and executing marketing solutions through compelling visuals
- Creating assets for digital; email layouts, website banners, online ads, and social posts
- Creating assets for print ads
- Helping maintain and organize photos and design work on the company server
- Participating and collaborating in creative meetings
- Researching and reporting on creative trends in competitive markets
- Maintain order and inventory of the marketing Closet
- Prepare boxes and unbox marketing materials for our conferences
- Prepare and mail booth to our different events and conferences
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Rush, Express and adobe stock) and understands when to use certain programs based on project requirements
- Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, colour, and other graphic design fundamentals
- Knowledge and understanding of the Principles of Design
- Compelling portfolio of graphic design work
- Computer skills, such as MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Must be working on or recently completed a degree in a design field (preferably visual design, UI/UX, graphic design, etc.)
- Working knowledge of digital file preparation for a variety of print and web media
