The Purpose of the Role:
This full-time role sits within the multi-disciplined internal Design Studio. This position will be primarily focussed on the digital side of the team, reporting to the Senior Digital Designer. Helping to deliver creative solutions across our web, email and CRM platforms.
There will also be a requirement to assist in other areas of the Design Studio where needed, covering a wide range of print and packaging, with lot's of opportunities to develop your skills in those areas too.
As a creative team we help to craft the look & feel of Holland & Barrett and its key brands, acting as brand guardians for all things H&B, delivering exciting design and brand work.
The Role:
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing high quality design solutions for email, web and app execution
- Effective relationship management of both internal and external stakeholders
- Consistent interpretation of design briefs delivering creative output within the brand guidelines
- Presenting design concepts in meetings and managing feedback
- Any additional ad hoc design duties as required
Key Requirements:
We are looking for a talented junior designer to join our close-knit studio team. We want someone passionate about design and clever concepts, with an eye for great layout and a good idea of the latest design trends (particularly in digital).
Here's the sorts of things we look for:
- An amazing portfolio of great design
- Previous experience/knowledge in digital design is great, but not essential
- Must be fully competent in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. A working knowledge of Adobe After Effects would be nice too, but not essential
- Understanding of the application of design across various digital, social and email platforms
- Acute attention to detail
- Organised and reliable
- Co-operative team player
- A talent for creativity and problem-solving
- Ability to work across channels and departments
Location:
This is a Hybrid role (equipment is all supplied) with 2 days a week based in our Nuneaton head office.
