About our Company
Cutwel, a leading B2B distributor of engineering tools, are looking for a Junior Graphic designer to expand their marketing department to help drive the business forward. The business has been ever growing since it was established over 25 years ago and has aims to become the number 1 supplier in the market over the next few years. A recent re-alignment of strategy has meant that more opportunities have presented themselves to grow the product range and diversify into different areas.
About the role
Working within the marketing department, the role will primarily support the company in promoting new products, as well as continually optimising the marketing of our existing products. With the industry becoming more and more responsive to digital marketing, you will be involved in a variety of design work on both online channels and traditional print marketing.
Duties & responsibilities include:
- Designing regular catalogues, brochures, and flyers
- Creating in-depth landing pages online to showcase our products
- Producing digital graphics and banners to be used on across all online channels (Website, email, social media etc)
- Support the marketing department with all other design content such as internal marketing guides, staff communication and ad hoc projects
- Opportunities to be involved in other creative tasks such as packaging design, photography
- Working closely with the Senior Graphic Designer to ensure all contact points for the company’s brand are aligned whilst presenting ideas to enhance the brand image
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will be someone who has had 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role with a passion for design and plenty creative flair to bring fresh ideas. You must be able to work collaboratively within the marketing team whilst helping the department achieve their goals.

Here are some of the desired skills we are looking for:
- *Essential* - Experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign)
- Web page building - wordpress/magento or any similar program
- Some knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Basic understanding of Microsoft office (excel, powerpoint)
Salary and Benefits
- £22,000 per year
- Company bonus scheme after 3 months probation
