About us
Crush is a full service agency comprising of a close-knit team, who are focused on delivering the very best in design led marketing for our clients. We primarily cater for the B2B sector, working for small, medium and international clients. In 2023 we are celebrating our 19th year and are looking to add to our talented team.
Crush has recently moved to a purpose built studio, which is located with a private premise on the edge of the Peak District. We encourage a healthy work-life balance!
We are on the hunt for a motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join the Crush team.
This role is permanent and full-time, based in our studio and working with an established team of designers and developers. As a Junior Designer you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including branding, marketing materials and digital designs. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build their design skills and grow within a studio environment.
Our work is tailored and unique, designing from our clients brief, rather than using templates. This means candidates applying for the role must have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of graphic design, from colour theory, brand architecture and typography. Are projects are split evenly across print, digital and environmental - you must be prepared to be a solid all-rounder.
Required for the role:
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and XD
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and creativity
- An ability to work in an agile manner across multiple projects
- A high standard of typographic skill is a must
- A strong attention to detail is also a must
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
