Job description
We are looking for a Junior Front-end engineer (open to all ages, subject to experience) who can help build and improve the companies internal CMS and Product website.

You will be there to ensure that performance, accessibility and progressive enhancement are always firing on all cylinders and making the platforms and product look and work as good as they can. You will also be able to provide cross device browser support.
Technical Skillset:-
- Experience in Angular framework
- A firm grasp of HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience using Sass
- Experience of Responsive design
Good to Have:-
- Typescript
- An understanding of RESTful services
- Experience with responsive and adaptive web design
- Good understanding of GIT based workflows
- W3C Accessibility (Wave for example)
- SEO
- An eye for pixel perfect design
Principle Responsibilities:-
- Design and code front end development delivering our customers and audience the best customer experience possible
- Develop user interface concepts and scalable web applications
- Ensure all interfaces are as accessible as possible to at least a AA standard
- Code base is well structured, modular and efficient. Being able to maintain and improve a pattern library using progressive enhancement
- Website development based on agreed specifications and graphical designs
- Work collaboratively alongside the engineer team and ensure we develop and code the best product
- Constantly improve yourself by learning new technologies and concepts following best industry practices
- Take technical responsibility for your code within an front end engineering environment
- Understanding business needs
- Understanding technical roadblocks
- Understand how product needs to get built
- Liaise with other members of the engineering team as required
- Analyse site and page speed
