Working as part of the NHS Fleet Solutions development team you will be responsible for developing external and internal web based systems.
You will be working in a well established team with the autonomy to bring in new ideas while enhancing a number of large exsiting systems. You will be able to apply development knowledge and experience you have gained in a similar previous role
As a Junior React Web Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain user interface components and implement designs provided by key stakeholders.
You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and ensure the application meets the required standards of performance, security, and scalability. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to the development of cutting-edge web applications.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. In summary, the post holder is responsible for developing and delivering secure software solutions using modern frameworks and practices initially on a greenfield solution. Working in an agile environment the post holder will be expected to work within a cross functional team and proactively drive continuous improvement in software, techniques and processes.
