Junior Footwear Designer – Ladies Footwear
The Role
- Working on the design and development of ladies fashion footwear ranges.
- Managing the design process for inhouse brands.
- Create initial sketches and CADs for the brands.
- Conducting trend research and completing mood boards for new season collections.
- Reviewing initial samples, discuss amendments and monitoring any changes required.
- Managing sample process, working to deadlines with suppliers.
The Candidate
- Highly creative with a passion for trend led women’s footwear across multiple product categories as described above.
- Understanding footwear production and construction methods.
- Good eye for trends and fashion, with some accessories design experience would be beneficial.
- Able to draw freehand and use CAD.
- Understand consumer fashion needs/wants.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
- Min 1 year experience in Footwear design.
- Must be passionate about footwear, fashion and the latest trends.
