We are making waves in the menswear industry and if that interests you then you’ll want to know that we have an exciting new opportunity to join our dynamic Merchandise team based at our new state of the art Head Office at Thorpe Park, Leeds.
As an Assistant Merchandiser you will play a vital role within our Ben Sherman Merchandising team. You will provide essential support to your department and provide daily management support to the Merchandise Admin Assistant.
Key Accountabilities
Review & analyse previous season sales analysis by size and fit level and propose the future strategy for sizing for the relevant fit & product category.- Assist the merchandiser with range building by providing analysis and proposals on, planned ROS, brand, fit, colour, design, and pricing.
- Ensure the sales and delivery tracker is kept up to date with accurate stock and sales for reference of the team. Assist the Merchandiser by forward planning sales & cash to feed into the WSSI & cash flow.
- Maintain line cards and feedback to the merchandiser on performance of lines. Suggest if need to call in/call off stock to meet demands of the stock service programme.
- Overseeing the MAA and liaising with the buyers and studio teams to ensure smooth online product launches
- Produce size-scales and oversee the order raising process with the MAA and production team.
- Maintenance of the buying minutes and other OASys (in house system) functions including amending quantities, moving delivery weeks to reflect the weekly delivery schedule, and moving products to current buying minutes.
- Review best sellers report on a weekly basis at line level. Propose any actions required to merchandiser in weekly trade on best/worst sellers; web remerch, web promotions & markdown proposals.

Qualifications & experience:
- GCSE level C in Maths & English
- Ideally to have a degree in a merchandising relevant subject
- At least 18 months experience working as a Merchandise Admin Assistant- ideally in a related category.
