THE ROLE
As a Jnr Finance Assistant , you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Xero Accounting Software. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development for someone who is willing to learn and adapt to the evolving needs of our business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Core functions, but not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, reconciling bank, and maintaining general ledgers.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial documents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy
- Collaborate with the wider team to gather financial data and provide support in preparing financial reports and budgets.
- Utilise Excel extensively to organize and analyse financial data, create reports, and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Primary Care department, assisting with financial planning, budgeting, and monitoring of expenses.
- Ensure the timely filing of tax returns and compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Provide support and work on project for the other business units as required.
- Propose improvements to finance activities, processes, and procedures.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (and Microsoft Office), including pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Experience using Xero.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Meeting deadline requirements.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and present financial information clearly.
Desirable
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar role is a plus.
