This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to work in our dynamic and listed services and retail business in our Tax team.
As a Junior Finance Analyst (Tax), you'll provide essential support to our internal Tax team, assisting with accurate tax calculations and gaining exposure to various areas of tax. You'll also play a key role in reviewing processes, identifying improvements, and implementing technology advancements. Strong data analysis skills are required, as you'll collaborate with other finance teams and contribute to raising the profile of the tax team.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in preparing VAT and corporate tax returns for our UK entities.
- Support compliance requirements for non-UK tax returns by gathering necessary information.
- Contribute to tax-related projects and process optimization.
- Analyse financial data used in tax returns.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and support responses to HMRC queries.
- Monitor tax Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and analyse tax data.
- Foster communication with other departments to enhance tax understanding.
- Review tax balance sheet codes and assist with auditor queries.

- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Enthusiastic team player.
