Macdonald & Company are delighted to be working with a Property Consultancy based in Milton Keynes that are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their dynamic team as a Junior Facilities Management Professional. As an integral part of the organisation, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of office, retail, and industrial assets located nationwide.Responsibilities:
- Support the Facilities Management team in ensuring the smooth operation of the office, retail, and industrial assets across the country.
- Assist in coordinating and overseeing maintenance and repair activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage service contracts, working closely with vendors to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Assist in conducting regular inspections and audits of facilities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address facilities-related issues, providing timely solutions and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in managing budgetary requirements, tracking expenses, and providing accurate reports as necessary.
- 1-2 years' experience in Facilities Management would be advantageous
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in Facilities Management would be an advantage.
- Prior experience in a facilities or property management role would be beneficial but not essential; we welcome applications from candidates eager to learn and grow in this field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, able to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using computer applications, including MS Office Suite.
