Junior Event Project Manager
£26,742 - £32,206 (plus commission)
The event project manager is a key role working in the events department team. The position will be responsible for project managing a series of skills and careers events across the UK, which attract thousands of students, teachers and parents. These events offer individuals a chance to meet local and national employers and high-quality education providers face-to-face, to gain expert career advice and plan their future. Responsibilities include hitting and exceeding monthly individual targets and working with the project team to oversee the smooth running, plans and preparations to deliver successful events. The successful candidate will have a track record in project management, ideally within the events management sector. They will also have experience of networking and building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders and be able to demonstrate evidence of delivering and beating monthly targets. The role is about selling and project managing the current and new ranges of the Optimus Education portfolio careers and skills events.
Essential:
You will have:
- Project management qualification or willingness to work towards
- Significant experience in B2B sales
- Experience of internal (and external) partnership working
- Demonstrable experience of successfully working to targets

Location:
Home Based- Regional. Onsite attendance to events will be required several times a year. You may be required to travel away from home for up to a week
