Location: Flexibly remote from one of our UK hubs (Bristol, Edinburgh, Harrogate, London, Manchester or Oxford)

Contract: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Energy and engineering analytics utilising MS EXCEL, GIS, Python etc.
  • Thermal modelling in design packages including EnergyPro, TAS and SystemGuru
  • Application of Mechanical, Chemical and Process Engineering knowledge to industrial decarbonisation
  • Energy data analytics
  • Carbon footprinting and socio-economic analysis
  • Engineering design in AutoCad and REVIT
  • Electrical engineering design calculations
  • Production of specifications
  • Report writing
  • Client Engagement
  • Administration within internal finance system
  • Administration of knowledge sharing across internal SharePoint site
  • Contribution to business development activity – research and bid support

Summary of role:

The role primarily will have an engineering focus and requires an individual with an understanding of building operation and energy systems. You will be expected to support our clients covering sectors ranging from industry to built environment. Project delivery will be the primary focus of the role and will mainly be within the Energy Systems community, but also potentially contributing to projects outside the community as needed.

Our projects have a consistent theme in striving for sustainable outcomes and therefore an interest and understanding of technology interventions that can drive the transition to a low carbon economy is essential.


Key requirements:

  • Engineering Degree, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an engineering or energy role

  • Effective time management and organisational skills. Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a dynamic, fast moving and changing work environment;

  • Well presented with a professional manner to act as a brand ambassador which flexes and is appropriate for the specific client environment and circumstances.
