Junior Ecommerce Project Manager

Reports to: Ecommerce Manager
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Your role @Chanel:
CHANEL is searching for a Junior Ecommerce Project Manager with agile delivery experience to drive the project stream for Digital platforms. The ECommerce team’s mission is to provide a best-in-class, flexible digital structure to enable ambitious growth plans for the UK and UK Region.
Management of this key project arm will be required to work across many digital systems and regional and global E-Commerce, Development, and IT teams. This will give the ideal candidate great exposure across a rapid growth area of the business and will provide opportunities to develop knowledge within the digital sector.
This role will have responsibility for helping to deliver the digital product roadmap from gathering business requirements, thorough solution testing to deployment and maintenance.
What you will bring to the role:
- An independently motivated individual who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with strengths in prioritisation and time management
- Experience of running delivery of Agile digital projects
- Clear experience within a similar Ecommerce project management role
- Previous experience working with internal and external IT and development teams/agencies
- An interest in luxury retail and experience within a software delivery role is essential
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail; aiming to bring clarity to challenging problems and manage multiple stakeholders’ expectations

The ideal candidate would be a strong project manager who is experienced in and passionate about all things E-Commerce. Someone who has great interpersonal skills and experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Experience in project management tools (Azure Dev Opps) is preferred, as well as experience managing new site rollouts or migrations and/or new feature implementation.
- Be a key member of the Digital E-commerce and IT teams and will manage projects from inception through to delivery
- Have responsibility for orchestrating the delivery of the Discovery, Development, Testing and Adoption of a site rollout - working closely with a Business Analyst, IT Product Owner and agency of developers
- Being a methodical proactive character with excellent communication skills, capable of driving the project forwards in a positive way - with a hunger for problem-solving and inspiring change

- Helping to establish and fine tune the project delivery process for the team to ensure efficiencies

- Orchestrating the deliverables from the team, holding the team members accountable to their commitments
