Digital PR Specialist
Up to 23K basic
Learn how to create attention-grabbing campaigns with a team of PR experts
We are looking for a Digital PR Specialist at both junior and midweight levels. You will work within Add People’s Digital PR team, delivering next-level link-building strategies for a varied digital client base.
Where do you fit in?
You will have a passion for building relationships with journalists and following the news cycle, looking for opportunities that you can jump on. You will be an avid consumer of news with excellent attention to detail.
This role will give you the opportunity to work on campaigns from start to finish, working independently and with other professionals in our team.
On top of your main outreach duties, you will also perform other SEO-focused tasks for your clients, such as creating interesting blog content and optimising their websites to target specific keywords.
We are dedicated to developing from within and there are a lot of opportunities for progression for the right candidate.
Typical Tasks
● Running email campaigns and creating outreach lists to gain top-tier coverage for your clients
● Writing press releases and pitches for your campaigns
● Newsjacking and providing quotes to journalists in different industries
● Sourcing and analysing data to create relatable stories
● Generating content ideas based on your clients’ strategies individually and within a team
● Writing varied and creative content for both link building and off-page SEO purposes
Required Skills
● Experience communicating with journalists and editors
● Some understanding of SEO and the value of link building
● The ability to write both creative and non-creative (such as service and category page) copy
● Some experience working with CMS such as WordPress
Desired Skills
● Experience with tools such as Ahrefs and Response Source
● An interest in building relationships with journalists and outlets
● HTML and CSS Skills
● Google Suite, Google Drive, Search Console, Analytics experience
