Hello…We're looking for a Junior Digital Designer!

What will you do?
As a Junior Digital Designer at MullenLowe, you will be working alongside a super talented team of digital & product designers, across a range of digital projects that include websites, apps, campaign microsites, social media campaigns, digital display ads & experiential and interactive experiences, for some of the worlds best brands. You will craft beautiful UI & interactive experiences in Figma, storyboard and animate in After Effects for social campaigns and digital displays, design key visuals and assets for campaigns in Adobe CS whilst chipping in to support on pitches when needed.
You will collaborate with the team, supporting senior members of the team on larger projects whilst taking ownership of smaller projects yourself. You will be confident in discussing and sharing your ideas, concepts and rationale with the team to create the best work possible.
About you
You'll either be a recent graduate with loads of energy and enthusiasm to learn within the role or a Junior Designer some experience gained from a digital agency. On top of this, it would be great if you;
- Have a varied portfolio of beautiful digital concepts and executions with exceptional graphic design skills
- Have good working knowledge of Adobe and Figma (knowledge of sketch and XD would also be beneficial)
Have experience of video and motion (in AfterEffects or Premier Pro and the ability to show consideration of motion and interaction design) - Demonstrate sensitivity to designing for different types of clients and brands
- Show an understanding of design thinking and the digital landscape
- Be a great communicator who can explain their ideas and thrive in a busy and collaborative environment. Working across project stages, from conception to execution and assisting the team on pitches and presentations.
- Be happy working with pen and paper, sketching ideas
- Have a problem-solving attitude
- Be eager to learn and deliver best practice design in a fast-paced, energetic environment
Bonus points for
- Knowledge of prototyping tools such as Figma & Invision
- Experience with AR (eg. Lens Studio / Spark AR)
- Client presentation experience
- Cinema 4D
- Strong Illustration Skills
- Have a working knowledge of Adobe XD and Sketch
- A working knowledge of how to produce and build digital display banners to IAB specifications. Including understanding technical specs (such as click tags, file size limits etc), tools, management systems and software such as Google Web Designer, Google Studio (Double Click), Sizmek, Celtra.
