Aspinal of London are seeking a talented Junior Digital Designer to assist the Senior Digital Designer within our Ecommerce team. You'll be creating high-quality digital assets across marketing channels with a particular focus on email design. You'll become an integral member of the Ecommerce team during an exciting time of growth.
As a Junior Digital Designer, you will be creative and confident whilst working within a fast-paced environment and reactive with your workload as the needs of the business change. You'll have an eye for detail and strong design skills allowing you to be confident working with campaign imagery, branding and typography, exploring layout to develop on-brand designs in a digital setting. You must have a can-do attitude and follow briefs set by the team whilst keeping track of your time management, ensuring all deadlines are met.
There will flexibility to work from home for this position but you will also be required to attend the London office 1-2 days per week as per managements request and demands of the role.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design and create Aspinal of London's email communications which, is an important tool used to engage with our customers. Developing email templates, working across Women's, Men's, Gifting and promotional content.
- Work closely with the Ecommerce Executive to strategically promote products and increase metrics.
- Create compelling assets for use across our other marketing channels such as affiliate, paid social and website.
- You will have a test & learn attitude and enjoy creating A/B tests to find out what works best for our Aspinal of London customers.
- Design assets that respond across devices with a mobile-first mindset and user centric approach.
- Create on brand digital content that meets best practice standards and drives revenue.
- Conduct competitor analysis across digital marketing channels.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- At least 1-year Graphic/Digital/E-com experience as an intern or full-time employee.
- Design degree, qualification or equivalent.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic about learning/developing design skills.
- Attention to detail and creative eye.
- Good communicator and confidence to show initiative.
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and deliver within strict deadlines is essential.
- Positive approach to constructive design feedback.
- Clear understanding of luxury brand handwriting, tone of voice and style guides.
- Previous experience creating marketing emails. (HTML/CSS skills beneficial but not necessary.)
- Skilled in Adobe Photoshop is essential.
- Applications should include portfolios that showcase a selection of relevant work.
