Do you have some software development skills in either Java, SpringBoot, Angular, or webMethods with good communication skills and experience of team working and have the ability to develop these and also learn new technologies? Are you comfortable working collaboratively in project teams utilising different methodologies? Do you have a can do attitude and are willing to learn new skills.

Job description
Responsibilities
- Design and code simple programs and scripts under the supervision of others from supplied specifications or user stories using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result and as part of a wider team contribute to the design of components on larger systems;
- Carry out unit and integration testing on your work;
- Document all work using required standards, methods and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate;
- Carry out simple fault and defect diagnosis and provide fixes on defects raised by system testers;
- Collaborate in reviews of work with others as appropriate.

Essential Criteria
1. Working knowledge of programming languages such as angular, java, javascript, HTML, CSS, PL-SQL and knowledge of relational databases;
2. Working knowledge of a UNIX operating system;
3. Awareness of build and deployment processes and working knowledge in using code repositories such as GIT and SVN;
4. Awareness of the full Systems Development lifecycle including awareness of System Development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
