As a Junior Game Developer at LNW you will work within our development team to create a wide variety of online slot games using our in-house Typescript library, Synergy. You will generally work in a team of 2 under a more senior developer that has several years of experience, although there may be occasions where you work as part of a larger team.
Full training will be provided to any successful applicants; however, you must have a good working level of development experience to support this. Although you will receive plentiful help from other team members, you should be able to manage your own time and solve some problems independently.
You will have the opportunity to work with other LNW developers and team members around the world, gaining knowledge from them as well as from the Bristol office.

Primary Responsibilities
- Program new interactive Typescript games alongside other developers
- Integrate art and sounds provided by other members of the team
- Fix any game issues found by our internal quality assurance (QA) team or clients.
- Attending daily stand ups to share progress with the team working on the game
- Contribute suggestions or small fixes to our game framework, Synergy
Essential
- Thorough knowledge of at least 1 programming language
- Completion of formal training in programming or software development via a university degree or equivalent course
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Experience using Typescript
- Previous experience working with a game of any kind
- Knowledge of a wide range of programming languages
