The Technology team prides itself in giving its end users a first-class service and a platform to allow users to perform their job role where technology is an enabler and not a hindrance. In a growing business we need to be able to scale our technology and infrastructure so we’re always adding value. In this role you will be;
- Providing 1st line support to our end-users to ensure all IT equipment is performing at its optimum level and that Servicedesk tickets are responded and solved within their agreed Service level Agreements.
- Analysing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, escalating to 2nd line support if required.
- Installing new hardware and software – using our automation tools Intune and Autopilot.
- Providing support to our London and Bristol offices, as well as remote workers.
- Creating new user accounts and archiving and removing leaver accounts.
- Provisioning laptops for new staff members and for laptop refreshes using Microsoft Intune.
- Proactively researching new Office 365 features and suggest tools to keep our technology fresh and at the forefront of our industry.
- Troubleshooting meeting room AV and VC issues
The Technology team provides a hybrid Cloud infrastructure to support the business’ SaaS product as well as supporting and managing the hardware and software for our internal user base. The team is heavily involved in many automation and optimisation projects, supporting and providing the guiderails for the Software Development teams and improving the overall experience of the Technology for all members of staff.
The Junior Desktop Support Engineer role will be a key role in helping us to maintain the service to our users and allowing our team to continue with our value adding projects.
- A passion for technology
- Experience with Windows 10 or 11
- Experience with Office 365 products
- Can do attitude
- Not afraid to crawl under desks or troubleshoot meeting room AV issues
- Problem solving mindset
It would be great if you also have;
- 1-2 years’ experience in IT support
- Knowledge and experience with meeting room video conferencing kit such as Logitech, Yealink and Crestron.
The salary range for this role is £30,000 - £40,000.
