Alpine Research & Development Lab is looking for a talented Junior Data Scientist to work closely with different groups to implement AI models that help deliver new and exciting projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for proposing and delivering AI-based solutions for complex projects under the supervision of senior data scientists.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Data Science algorithms, especially in computer vision, with demonstrated ability to work and deliver results autonomously within tight schedules.
Excellent business and communication skills are a must to define key business questions and to build AI algorithms that answer those questions.
The Person
We are looking for an adaptable person who is committed to deadlines and willing to work in a fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team.
A Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant field for Data Science is essential as is 1+ years of experience with statistical/mathematical software packages (e.g. Python, Matlab).
You will have a strong understanding of relevant statistical measures such as confidence intervals, significance of error measurements, development and evaluation sets, etc.
Experience with image processing is important, as is strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
