We have an exciting and brand-new opportunity for a Junior Data & Reporting Analyst to join the team here at the John Good Group as part of the Innovation and Data team based at the picturesque Hesslewood Business Park, Hessle, East Yorkshire. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to kick start their career in Data and Analytics.
Salary £23k – 25k per annum.
Mon – Fri 09.00 – 17.30
This role is office based in Hessle, East Yorkshire.

The opportunity
As part of the next phase of our journey and ambitious growth plans, we are looking to recruit a Junior Data & Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for creating, maintaining and supporting accurate reporting solutions throughout the group and ensure they are functioning accurately.
As Junior Data & Reporting Analyst you will focus on:
- Developing reporting tools to deliver defined metrics to analyse and monitor the success of those improvements e / development as well as more general Business Intelligence (BI) reporting to show the current state of the business / group with the ability to apply “what if” analysis to support future decision making and strategy.
- Focus on continuous improvement and innovation through analysing existing products, processes and practices, to identify those that are ready for improvement / development to crate additional insight, efficiency and productivity
- Assist in various and regular / ad-hoc data cleansing / processing tasks and reporting projects
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to monitor data quality and work to repair any corrupted data to ensure accuracy
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a BI / Analyst role gained through either a placement or internship would be desirable
- Degree educated or completed a Data related qualification
- Strong experience using solutions / software / programming language such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, SQL
- Excellent analytical skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple and different stakeholders
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Creative thinker with strong problem solving skills
- Strong experience of creating reports and managing multiple projects
- Proactive approach
