Introduction
We are looking for a Data Analyst to provide support to external clients with Data advice and solutions for their requirements and business needs. You will be working directly integrated within customer teams to establish solutions and best practices within their workplace.
This vacancy has a mixture of remote working and office / on-site working around London. You may be required on-site two to three times per week.
My client are an award winning consultancy who provide digital and data solutions to their clients across the defence sector. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be willing to undergo an SC Security Clearance for this opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Handle, merge, and clean multi-source data so it can be further analysed.
- Effectively apply a variety of statistical Investigation and data visualisation techniques to bring business problems to life.
- Participate in external activities related to your own specialism such as client engagement, conferences, and research papers.
- Work on end-to-end projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and the provision of end-user training.
- Develop new capabilities, solutions, and methodologies to deliver to clients.
- Expand your data analysis skills through appropriate training and mentorship.
Skills & experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a Data Analyst/consultant role.
- Experience working in a project environment, including governance processes, requirements gathering with business users, and different cycles of testing.
- Experience with different coding languages and data transformation / modelling tools (Python, R, SQL, NoSQL, Azure Data Factory, Power Query.)
- Experience using data visualisation tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, QuickSight)
- Experience owning the end-to-end roadmap for data analytics solutions
