Junior Data Analyst / Data Scientist | £25k to £35k plus bonus | Hybrid (permanent)
Junior data analyst or data scientist required for a growing data science consultancy based in London (hybrid working available).
We are a small, bespoke consultancy specialising in graphs and networks data science with a strong client base in supply chain, logistics and finance. Due to increasing client demand across our industry base, we are looking for a junior data analyst or data scientist to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in learning graph technology and consulting with clients on graph data analysis and technology; the work is fast paced, interesting and cutting edge! We’re looking for candidates with a strong grounding in the maths and technology of data analysis and/or data science, ideally with 1-2 years of work experience but graduates with a strong skills fit will be considered. We will provide extensive training in graphs and networks theory and technology.
Candidates with French or German language skills would be highly considered, but these are nice-to-have’s not requirements for the role.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Maths (ideally with statistics), or Computer Science (ideally with data science, data analytics or data design)
- Experience with project delivery – professional or as part of your degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with working in teams
- Flexible, can accommodate additional working hours to meet deadlines when required
- Willingness to learn graphs and networks theory and technology
Nice to have:
- Experience with NoSQL or graph query languages: GSQL, cypher, gremlin / tinkerpop
- Experience with networkx and/or iGraph, or other graph libraries
- Experience with data pipelines e.g. kafka, Spark, etc.
- Experience in AGILE delivery: Azure devops or JIRA
- Business-level French or German
The role is London based, but with hybrid working available. We have clients all over the globe, so being in the office every day is not a requirement.
