Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Junior Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Build a solid understanding of the relationships between the behaviour of our users and our growth drivers through data analysis and modelling.
  • Define and track key performance indicators for products
  • Generate insights about how our users use the product to inform future product development and user growth.
  • Deliver A/B and multivariate experiments, design and automate reports, and master exploratory analysis and insight, all in close collaboration with partners across the engineering and product teams.
  • Design, build and automate data ETL pipelines and dashboards
  • Partner with product managers on the end-to-end process of test design, implementation and analysis
  • Document and communicate findings and insights to stakeholders

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as economics, mathematics, or computer science or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience programming in SQL and Python or R
  • Have experience with complex data analysis, you generated and delivered insights and narratives, and built and owned dashboards and visualizations.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI, Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML or Javascript)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SAS etc)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

Desirable qualifications and experience:

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Computer Science, Physics)
  • Experience in applying multivariate statistics, including logistic regression modelling, to business problems.
  • Experience with defining, implementing and analyzing A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Experience with data ETL pipelines
  • Experience with Google BigQuery or similar data warehouses

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
