Our Longevity team undertakes assignments for life and health insurers, both in the UK and internationally, and also for pension schemes. Ongoing clients include the Continuous Mortality Investigation (CMI), part of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, and J P Morgan. Our work often involves analysis of individual data portfolios and population data, to help clients understand future longevity experience and its implications.
The Longevity team is part of the Insurance and Longevity Consulting (ILC) business area, which collectively provides consultancy services under both long-term support contracts and on standalone projects to a range of insurance and non-insurance clients. The ILC Team is predominantly based in London and has around 45 staff.

- Undertaking analyses of data portfolios for both life and health insurers, both in the UK and internationally, as well as for pension schemes, to understand current and recent mortality (or morbidity) experience.
- Analysing individual data portfolios and population data, to understand future longevity experience and its implications.
- Peforming and summarising calculations, model runs and data analysis.
- Developing models and processes under guidance of more senior team members to improve efficiency.
- Assisting with drafting client communications and deliverables, including emails, papers and presentations.
