The Role: As a Junior Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for helping third-party suppliers in the finance industry avoid IT security risks. You will work with a team of experienced consultants to assess and manage supplier risks, and you will also have the opportunity to learn about cyber security frameworks, threat modeling, and risk assessment technologies.

Responsibilities
- Assist in scoping and performing TPRM consulting engagements.
- Support the design and implementation of TPRM frameworks.
- Assist in conducting current state assessments and gap analysis.
- Provide input in designing operating models and options.
- Assist in systems and process assessments and options analysis.
- Participate in documenting business processes.
- Support remediation projects under guidance.
- Assist in managing supplier risk assessments, potentially with oversight from senior consultants.
- Assist in planning and executing risk assessment activities.
- Coordinate supplier engagement during assessments.
- Assist in assessing control effectiveness and identifying risks and issues.
- Support the preparation of deliverables aligned with the assessment methodology.
- Assist in monitoring assessment progress and providing accurate information for client briefings.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, both at client and supplier companies.
Skills
- Understanding of cyber security frameworks like NIST, PCIDSS, ISSO.
- Basic knowledge of threat modeling techniques.
- Familiar with risk assessment and risk management technologies.
- Comfortable with ambiguous situations and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of cybersecuirty regulations like TPRM, PRA, EBA, FCA.
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve your skills.
