About the role and our team
Are you starting a career in Cyber Security Join our team as a Junior Cyber Intelligence & Operations Analyst for the Office of Cyber-Security and Information Assurance (OCSIA) on a student placement.
This is role within Government which will let you become familiar with Cyber Intelligence and Incidents whilst offering the ability to work with other teams across Government as well as members of the public and private sector.
Some of the duties of the role involve:
- Collating relevant information from various sources to continually assess the risks and threats against the Government and the Island
- Monitoring alerts from a variety of sources, triage and investigate alerts and develop a security escalation process and a communication strategy/plan
- Responding in an effective and timely manner to incidents (suspected or actual) and managing to come to a successful resolution
We’re looking to recruit a highly motivated individual and this would be a great opportunity for someone studying for a degree in Cyber Security and who would like to combine their studies with some practice experience.
