Job description
An exciting position is available for a Junior Copywriter to join our established Marketing Team at Dawsongroup plc Head Office in Milton Keynes.
Dawsongroup, proud recipients of the Queens Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2022, is a privately owned group of companies specialising in commercial asset leasing and financing, operating from offices throughout the world.
The Group Marketing department operates as a highly collaborative creative ‘agency’ team within the organisation, and based within this, the Junior Copywriter will focus on writing short and long copy to support the content strategies of various businesses within the Group.
The Junior Copywriter will be asked to:
- Write short and long copy for a range of projects including e-shots, articles, website copy, social media, brochures, events and internal communications
- Proof and edit content from other areas of the business
- Create and manage social media content
- Interview and report on people and events throughout the Group
- Attend creative meetings to take briefs and develop projects
- Upload content to various company websites
- Support the Group Copywriter and assist in ensuring all copy tasks are completed on time
- Ensure consistent house style and group brand direction in all written materials
- Use web and social media analytics to report on digital content
The successful Junior Copywriter will be:
- Experienced in copywriting and online marketing
- Highly organised - detail and deadline orientated
- Proficient using WordPress or other CMS platforms
- An excellent communicator and problem solver
- Comfortable responding to feedback
