About The Role
We are looking to recruit a Junior Content Producer within the Attune Project. This role is designed to give the successful candidate an opportunity to develop and deploy their skills and knowledge within the Project in content production and media production, making a valuable contribution whilst developing skills and gaining quality work experience.
The Attune project is a £3.9 million research project jointly led by Falmouth and Oxford Universities that is aiming to create a paradigm shift in our approach to young people mental health provision by harnessing the powerful potential of creative arts and participatory processes with young people. We will do this by learning how multiple, Adverse Childhood Experiences, diverse places & diverse identities shape pathways and outcomes for youth mental health. Additionally, we will develop transformative arts-led interventions to reach young people and the systems around them.
The successful applicant will work across the whole partnership ensuring the website, media and social media content is informed by and relevant for young people in today’s world.
The Junior Content Producer is responsible for developing and creating content that can be used across a variety of media including digital, social media, broadcast or in print. You will research, prepare and develop media messaging to maximise audience engagement, capturing the strategy and objectives of the project. You will capture what is exciting about the project and design the elements that can be used across media platforms and channels. You will collaborate with designers and developers using authoring languages to online content which may include video, images, text (or copy) and web pages and social media content so an enthusiasm for technology and crating great online experiences is a must., including journalists, sector influencers and potential industry partners.

The successful candidate for this role will need to be a pro-active "team player" who is conscientious and hard-working who actively plays their part in continuing to make Falmouth University a great place to work. It's a fast-paced environment, we are looking for people who have the energy and agility needed to ensure we work well across a broad research collaborative in an ever-changing HE landscape.
Alongside these core qualities, you’ll be a good writer and enjoy communicating ideas and issues to different audiences, tackling everything from relevant issue-based stories, good news stories from young people, researchers and partners and local and national policy issues.

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- Knowledge of current news gathering techniques and editorial process
- Experience of writing (for publication or through qualifications)
- Experience (on job or through qualifications) in designing, developing and delivering communications campaigns
- Experience of social media platforms and content development
