- Design communications products – from internal templates to social media graphic cards and mini brochures.
- Craft compelling and engaging multimedia content across various channels, including social media, websites, and internal communications channels.
- Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and target audiences to inform communication strategies and messaging.
- Assist in media relations efforts, including building relationships with journalists, drafting media pitches, and coordinating interviews.
- Monitor and analyse media coverage, social media trends, and online conversations to provide insights and recommendations.
- Support the coordination and execution of events, campaigns, and other communication initiatives.
What are we looking for?
- At least one to two years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field. This can include internships or relevant volunteer work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to craft clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
- Experience using creative design applications, such as Adobe Creative Cloud applications or Canva.
- Strong research and analytical skills to gather insights and stay updated on industry trends.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and content management systems.
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to manage projects and deadlines.
- A genuine interest in mission-driven work, and a desire to work with organizations that share these values.
