Main duties of the job

Teaching activities and undertake educational research relating to trauma orthopaedic surgery. Develop, coordinate and participate in a teaching programme for undergraduates in trauma and orthopaedic surgery. Assist in the organisation and delivery of teaching to medical students rotating through the Royal Free Hospital. Ward work, assessment of patients in the outpatient setting and assisting in the operating theatre. 1:8 on-call rota supporting the hospital at night, working in general surgery, vascular surgery and urology as well as trauma and orthopaedic surgery.
