The Role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, and driven individual to join our company as a Junior CAD Technician.
Working with the CAD, Engineering and Energy & Sustainability departments, this role will get you involved in learning AutoCAD software and the creation and modification of technical drawings using AutoCAD.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make their way into the building services / construction industry or for someone who works in a construction trade who is looking for more of an office based role. Whilst experience and a background in building services is preferred, we are accepting applications/CVs from all experience levels and backgrounds. As a Junior CAD Technician, you will receive in-house on-the-job training & guidance to develop your building services / construction knowledge whilst working on drawings that will be used on live projects. You will work within the CAD department, providing support to our engineering design service by preparing, producing & amending building services layouts and detailed drawings using AutoCAD software under the guidance of the CAD manager and in line with company standards. Essential Skills:
- Good computer skills.
- Previous experience, training, or a keen desire to learn it.
- AutoCAD / Revit experience not required but desired (would be an advantage).
- Good communication skills.
- Confident and comfortable asking for assistance.
- A good eye for detail.
- Good organisation skills & time management.
- The ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
- Ambition and drive.
Salary:
To start with, the salary for this role will match that of National Living Wage (for those aged 23 and over) and the National Minimum Wage (for those of at least school leaving age). We like to our reward staff who exceed expectations so we will look to review this as you progress. We also have performance related bonuses.

Salary: £10,000.00-£18,525.00 per year
