We are looking to recruit a Junior BI Support Analyst to join our Reporting Team. This is an exciting role in the business and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to learn and achieve personal growth within a fast paced environment.
As a Junior BI Support Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the Reporting Team in the development and administration of high performance reporting mechanisms. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of senior BI/SQL developers and receive training from them on any subjects of interest to you.
What does the role involve?
- Perform 1st line support for the Reporting Team involving tasks such granting access, creating report subscription, assigning licences, support data extractions, create / amend power bi reports.
- Diagnose user issues and channel the request to the appropriate queues.
- Support the team with Report development involving tools like SSRS, Power BI
- Support the Manager with Sprint Planning activities by managing the ticket efficiently and also by producing trend reports
- Be able to participate agile team activities
- Prioritisation of tickets by interacting with various department internally and externally
- Participate in data reconciliation activities using Excel, SQL based tools
Who are we looking for?
This role would be Hybrid with 2 days in our Customer Support Centre and 3 days at home.
- Some awareness and understanding of Microsoft BI technologies, including SQL SERVER, TSQL, VISUAL STUDIO, .NET, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, AZURE and POWER BI
- SQL, DAX, PowerShell, Experience of using a help-desk ticketing system
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good Problem recognition and resolution skills
- Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task as required to meet schedules
- Ability to manage a varied workload, often to tight deadlines

- Detail-oriented with commitment to high level of data integrity and accuracy
