Junior Analytical Consultant
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking to expand our London-based team of consultants to deliver data analytics projects (predominantly involving marketing mix modelling) and support users of our specialised MMM software.
As an Analytical Consultant you will work across a varied and diverse range of clients, responsible for contributing to the excellent delivery of data analytics projects plus providing training and technical support to clients that use our software.
Analytical Consultants are key members of the consulting team - you will receive initial training, with continuous on-the-job learning and support, taking on more responsibility as you grow into the role.
Responsibilities
- This is a hands-on role in which you will work as part of the consulting team to deliver data analytics projects from end-to-end – including project kick-off, data collection, data processing, model-building, optimisation and providing recommendations
- Develop econometric models to evaluate the effectiveness of various marketing activities and identify areas of opportunity
- Assist with the preparation of results presentations and presenting back the findings to clients
- Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Provide demos, training and technical support to current and prospective clients
- Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure they get the most value from our solutions
- Work closely with the software development team to test upcoming releases, propose new features and contribute ideas to the product roadmap
Skills & experience
- Degree in Economics, Maths, Stats, Sciences or other numerical subject (2:1 or above)
- Analytical mindset
- Highly numerate with the ability to convert technical analysis into real-world applications
- Strong knowledge of regression and time-series analytics
- Good knowledge of Excel, common statistical packages (Eviews, R, Python, etc.) and PowerPoint
- Interest in media & marketing
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ambitious, determined, and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- An interest in training others
