The Treasury department supports the Bank by ensuring adequate funding, managing Interest Rate and Basis Risk whilst maintaining robust risk controls. Treasury Front Office focuses on balance sheet data and market analysis to ensure shareholder value is created whilst operating within the risk appetite of the Board.

What you will be doing:In this role, you will have the opportunity to support and assist the Group Treasurer in all areas of Treasury activity including wholesale market monitoring, internal product flow data measurement, generating / analysing / interpreting interest rate risk / basis risk / liquidity reporting output and preparing reporting for senior internal committees. You will report directly into the Head of Treasury Dealing. This varied role within a collaborative team will give you the opportunity to gain executive exposure with senior stakeholders and support the Banks success.
Your responsibilities will include…
- Monitoring and assessing the regulatory outlook affecting the Treasury function of the Bank.
- Preparing and producing economic data and Treasury management information for internal committees.
- Co-ordinating and collate management information from the loan origination and savings funding areas.
- Supporting the wider treasury team in the planning, development and implementation of projects including system upgrades.
- Producing ad hoc and scheduled analysis of interest rate risk/basis risk/liquidity positions, using Excel and any other relevant format.
- Tracking and managing the Treasury cash flow and funding requirements.
- Recording of Treasury transactions within our deal management system
- Managing the administrative elements of Treasury Vendor management
- Travelling between our UK sites occasionally

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:
- Experience in using Treasury systems is advantageous
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Ability to communicate and engage with all levels of staff, including Senior Management
- Part qualified or working towards a professional qualification or relevant degree is desirable
