We have a unique opportunity to join the Aerospace Strategy and Development team. The primary role will be to support the collection and development of our client and market data to deliver Aerospace ‘Business Insights’ (Data & Analysis). The role also encompasses some tactical projects that support innovative ways to deliver data and enabling technology to our aerospace clients, insurers and internal colleagues.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious team member keen to be part of WTW Aerospace as we continue to evolve.

The Role

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Analysis of client supplied information and data
  • Project work on the automation of client pre/post-renewal calculations/ client policy expiry premium adjustments
  • Standardisation of client data for market negotiations/ claims reporting and data review
  • Creating reports, and producing insightful dashboards
  • Data Analytics, reviewing data for integrity and manipulating/summarizing data
  • Understand the client and insurer need/demand process to develop the analysis required
  • Work collaboratively and agree on intermediate milestones, timelines and completion of the projects
  • Support, adhere and enforce governance and confidentiality around projects and data.
  • Championing adherence to processes and change management within the Aerospace business practice
  • Interaction with colleagues, clients and insurers.

Relationships

  • Develop good working relationships and work closely with other members of the team and business unit to ensure consistency of approach in delivering the Strategy and Development teams activities and to share new ideas and best practices
  • Develop and maintain good relationships within the LOB

Business Awareness

  • Develop an understanding of the Aerospace products, services, and solutions

The Requirements

  • Degree 2.1 or equivalent in physics, mathematics or related field preferred
  • Analytical and technical problem-solving skills
  • Reporting and analytical skills
  • Microsoft suite skills including Excel, Power Point, Power BI or equivalent
  • Intermediate understanding and knowledge of computer programming language such as python, preferable
  • Ability to identify problems
  • An aptitude for independent working and a desire to deliver solutions
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to prioritize work efficiently and deliver under tight timescales
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to form strong working relationships
