Junior Financial Analyst Role in Litigation Finance Fintech.
We are seeking an individual with a couple of years work experience in equity research, management consulting (or a similar activity) who is numerate and literate and open to working in the new and growing litigation finance sector. No work experience is necessary for someone with the right academic background (first class or upper second class honours or equivalent from a leading university is required given the role requirements).
AxiaFunder is a small but fast growing FCA regulated online litigation funding platform, connecting investors with pre-vetted commercial litigation opportunities that we believe have the potential to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns.
This role will give the right candidate a great platform for learning about the litigation funding market, alternative finance and structuring complex investments in an entrepreneurial environment. This will be initially a full time consulting role but will transition to full time employment within 6 months. Compensation will be equivalent to £50,000 to £70,000 per annum + bonus+ equity options.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with financial modelling of investment opportunities.
- Assisting with drafting legal agreements.
- Establishing and maintaining productive and professional relationships with various stakeholders including investors, claimants, lawyers, publishers etc.
- Handling investor and introducer onboarding process and various queries.
- Analysing marketing data and feedback (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, channels etc.) to help improve lead quality and growth.
- Assisting with preparing investment memorandums and other marketing material ensuring all financial promotions are FCA compliant.
- Assisting with various administrative tasks related to existing investments.

Must

- Able to commute to Hammersmith London
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Good mathematical ability
- Organised with great multi-tasking skills
- Analytical mindset with a great attention to detail
- Enthusiasm and passion to deliver exceptional client service
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision
- Highly accountable demonstrating ability to deliver high quality output
- Extremely flexible demonstrating ability to adapt to varying situations and changing priorities and work efficiently in an entrepreneurial environment
Desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of finance and accounting; and ideally with CFA part of full qualification or equivalent.
- Interest in legal sector; litigation funding
- Interest in the alternative finance and fintech
- Previous work experience in the financial services
