Accounts Payable Officer Ilford (Office based)
Lint Estate Management are looking for a junior Accounts Payable Officer to join the team in our Gants Hill office.
The ideal applicant will need to have proven communication skills, proactive intervention will maximize your ability to negotiate and mediate solutions to complex situations. You will be able to manage a caseload and be committed to and have a clear understanding of the role.
You must have relevant experience of working in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
The role will include the following:
- Statement reconciliations and weekly supplier payment runs (Reconcile & control balance sheet creditor accounts, Reconciling supplier statements)
- Taking supplier queries by telephone and investigating and resolving or referring where necessary
- To maintain specified projects and ongoing tasks as led by the Finance Manager
- Other ad-hoc tasks
- Resolve Accounts Payable Queries
- Arranging payment runs
Essential Requirements:
- Qube and its functionalities o How to pay suppliers o Understanding of different Funds and its functionalities in Qube o Bank Reconciliation o How to handle VAT for clients (Rent & Service Charge)
- Knowledge in Xero (added benefit)
- Knowledge of Barclays.Net (added benefit)
- Able to resolve complex queries independently.
Personal Specification:
- Previous experience as an accounts payable officer within a real estate background desirable not essential
- Solid knowledge of client reporting
- Impeccable communication skills
- Self-motivated team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Hours:
Monday to Friday either from 9.00am to 5.30pm, or from 9.30am to 6.00pm
