An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Accountant to work with one of London's most respected Accountancy firms. The chosen candidate will be assisted with career development and the opportunity to attain the practical experience necessary to get your ACCA/CIMA qualifications. There is no experience required as all training will be provided.
This highly professional accountancy firm have been providing personal and professional, accountancy, personal tax, and corporate tax and consultancy services. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or Junior Accountant to join us. As Trainee Accountant, the successful candidate will gain exposure to all areas of monthly management accounts preparation, reporting, VAT, self-assessments, bookkeeping and analysis as well as Management accounts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for – and developing the following skills:
- Preparing vat returns
- Bookkeeping
- Assisting with accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and more.
- Management accounts preparation and review
- Preparation, review and submission of year end accounts
- Provide excellent service to clients by supporting and answering queries
- CIS Scheme
- PAYE
- Liaising with HMRC
- Other general accounting duties
Career Progression
- Potential likely progression is to quickly move to take responsibility for a team of accountants and take final responsibility for that team's portfolio of clients
- Lead a team of accountants
- Help all team members hit their personal and department goals
- Provide mentoring, training and help to trainees across the firm
The successful Junior Accountant /Trainee will have /be

Salary: £15,362.47-£25,648.79 per year
