Job description
Joiner Workshop Assistant
We design and manufacture wooden furniture for mainly residential properties.
Role:
Your role as workshop assistant is to aid with the making, assemnbly and finishing of the furniture along with any other jobs allocated. You must be able to follow instructions to deliver a high quality and exacting standards of our team.
Responsibilites:
Assemble customer orders as briefed by the workshop manager.
Furniture assembly
Loading and unloading of CNC machine, saws and planers
Assisting with keeping the workshop clean and tidy
Finishing including sanding, waxing and painting
Wrapping and packing of completed items
Assemble and dispatch items in line with the managers deadlines
Enusre all deliveries are received, checked and stored correctly.
Maintain health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
Basic proficiency with the use of hand and portable electric tools and workshop machinety inc. but not limited to planer, CNC, sander, saw
Punctuality
Careful and diligent
Efficient, effective and organised
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £11.50 per hour

Experience:
- Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
