You will be supporting "Jack"
“Jack” is a young man in his 20’s who lives in his own property in Frome and is looking to build a team of Support Workers around him. Jack has led an active life where he has enjoyed things like yoga, gardening, skittles, swimming, washing his car and going to the gym, however COVID has interrupted his routine, and this has caused him to become reluctant to go out.
Jack is looking for people who can support him to regain structure and routine in his life and begin to motivate him to find joy in the things he used to pursue by reengaging him with his community. Jack needs to feel safe within a familiar routine and structure, and it will be a crucial part of the Support Worker to provide this element of security.
Jack has sensory sensitivity, so it will be important that you will be able to predict the nature of environments and support him to manage these situations.
