Job Purpose: As a General Assistant you will help your line managers with daily tasks in order to run the site smoothly.

Location: SW1Y 4EA

Pay: £10.50/ Hour

Working hours: Shifts are scheduled on a rota basis, including early morning, late nights and weekends. Ideally we are looking for someone who can work minimum 30 hours.

Job purpose:

Provide exceptional customer service at all times
To be an ambassador for the Japan Centre Group Brand
To assist customers while they are in our sites with any questions or queries they may have
To Serve customers through the till
To assist customer packing or carrying their shopping within our sites
To prepare food for our customers
Adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
To advise our customers about our food products
To serve food to our customers
Refill our shelves with the relevant products
Check & rotate date codes to ensure we provide our customers with quality products
Complete stocktaking activities on a periodic basis
This job requires you to stand throughout your working shifts
Manual Handling - lifting, bending, stretching and carrying heavy items
Heavy lifting (cases of sake, drinks, rice etc.), able to manage delivery cages
