Available Job Today Job Purpose: As a General Assistant you will help your line managers with daily tasks in order to run the site smoothly.

Location: SW1Y 4EA

Pay: £10/ Hour

Working hours: Shifts are scheduled on a rota basis, including early morning, late nights and weekends. Ideally we are looking for someone who can work minimum 30 hours.

Job purpose:

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times
• To be an ambassador for the Japan Centre Group Brand
• To assist customers while they are in our sites with any questions or queries they may have
• To Serve customers through the till
• To assist customer packing or carrying their shopping within our sites
• To prepare food for our customers
• Adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety standards
• To advise our customers about our food products
• To serve food to our customers
• Refill our shelves with the relevant products
• Check & rotate date codes to ensure we provide our customers with quality products
• Complete stocktaking activities on a periodic basis
• This job requires you to stand throughout your working shifts
• Manual Handling - lifting, bending, stretching and carrying heavy items
• Heave lifting (cases of sake, drinks, rice etc.), able to manage delivery cages

What we are looking for:

• Fast learner
• Good English communication skills
• knowledge of Japanese products
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Speak/read/write Japanese is desirable
