Job description
This contract is with immediate effect. Work will not commence until OPP pre screening process has been satisfied in full.
We are looking to contract an experienced cleaner to provide daily cleaning services and that can help us create a clean and orderly environment while maintaining the highest sanitation standards. Cleaning includes, but is not limited to: sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and garbage removal.
The successful contractee will provide support to the daily operations of the OPP Grand Bend Detachment located in Grand Bend at 58 Main Street West. The hours are a total of 3 hours per day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. For the duration of the summer only, there will be additional hours on Saturday and Sunday. The time the cleaning should be completed is between the hours of 10:00 am to 1:00 pm each day, if possible, to ensure the building is completed in full daily.
The ideal contractee must be living or located in Grand Bend or surrounding area. We do not discourage individuals who are willing to travel as long as they accept the commitment through the winter season and are committed to ensure they arrive for their scheduled cleaning shifts. Monthly cleaning schedules must be maintained at all times and it is imperative that all interested parties understand that all days off must be requested in advance. This will allow for the coordination of the appropriate cover in order to ensure our customers daily cleaning requirements are being maintained.
The following are the expectations:
- Experienced preferred, but not an asset. Must be coachable.
- Frequency: 5 days a week in summer, 3 days a week in the winter - 3 hours a day
- Preferred Hours: 10:00 AM - 1:00 AM
- Location: 58 Main St W - OPP Grand Bend
- Must provide a police check and have a clear criminal record in order to be considered
- Will be mandated to pass a pre screening process mandated by the OPP
- Must be dependable
