Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Portsmouth- Portsdown Technology Park

About the role

Here at QinetiQ we have a permanent opportunity for a cleaner to join us at our site in Portsdown Technology Park. It is a high quality office building situated in a highly secure environment.

What will I be doing?

A majority of your role will be to ensure all cleaning on site is to a good standard. You will also be responsible for using a variety of equipment required, site maintenance checks, for example fire alarm testing, temperature checks and water flushing. There is some occasional set up and clean down of conference rooms. The role does include some physical activities and heavy lifting.

The working hours are 6am- 2.30pm Monday- Thursday and 6am-2pm Friday.

What do I need?

Work experience in a similar role

Ability to meet the criteria to obtain Security Clearance as it is a secure environment

A driving licence is preferred

PC literate

Must have excellent organisational Skills

Excellent Interpersonal Skills

Drive and enthusiasm; ‘can do’ approach

Excellent inter-personal and communication skills

Ability to organise / prioritise work

Ability to thrive as part of a team, and work independently where appropriate

Demonstrate understanding of Health and Safety
