Cleaner (20 hours per week)
Mayflower Theatre is the largest independent theatre in the south of the UK. We present a wide range of performances including large scale musicals, opera and dance. Working in our lovely Grade II listed building we have an exciting opportunity for a professional clear to join our busy and friendly Facilities team. The role of Cleaner is key to the smooth running of all aspects of cleaning operation in the theatre.
In particular you will:
· Ensure the theatre and office building is cleaned to a high standard
· Be responsible for safe and efficient operation and use of cleaning equipment and consumables, giving due attention to safety requirements.
Our ideal applicant will have:
· GCSE level education
· Good practical cleaning skills
· Have good communication skills
· Be a good team player
Rate of pay is £10.90 per hour and current hours of work will be 16:00 – 20:00 (5 days out of 7) to primarily service the office block and help with matinee pickups, however flexibility is essential. This role is physically demanding and will involve lots of stairs.
Interviews will be held at Mayflower Theatre.
