About the role and our team
We are looking for a friendly Cleaner to join our team at Queen Elizabeth II High School.
You will be joining our dedicated team who take pride in the work they do, through working in conjunction with our Site Manager and colleagues to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Washing, sweeping, tidying, vacuuming, polishing and dusting
- Removal of litter receptacles for disposal
- Using mechanical powered equipment, e.g. polishing machines, scrubbing machines and carpet shampooers
You’ll also be responsible for monitoring your work areas, ensuring they are kept free from obstructions, and for identifying and reporting any health and safety concerns to management.
If you are well-organised, self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and you would like to be an active contributor to the life of our school, then this role could be perfect for you!
