An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a world-leading research team in the usage of virtual reality for mental health therapies and use state-of-the art virtual reality equipment. The postholder’s main role will be to ensure that our virtual reality equipment is in working order and support the research team in the current and upcoming research studies and clinical trials.
The position is fixed term for 2 years and is part-time working between 7.5 hours and 15 hours per week. To be agreed with the successful candidate.
Currently located in the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, we will be moving to the new, purpose-built Life and Mind Building a multidisciplinary research and teaching facility due to open in 2024.
The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated and have demonstrable experience of working with virtual reality hardware and software. They will be passionate about new hardware releases and keen to try them out. Excellent communication skills and a professional approach will enable them to support a multidisciplinary team from different disciplines.
